TELL ME YOUR RESCUE STORY:
After we said goodbye to our oldest rescue, her brother Harmon became despondent. His tail was down and he looked so sad every time we left the house. We headed to the humane society to check out dogs and Maggie was one of our picks. Her picture made her look the size of our 12-15 lb. Jack Russell, but when we were told she was 40 lbs. we didn’t have the heart to say we wouldn’t see her. We met about four dogs and when the door opened with Maggie, she came bounding in and wrapped her paws around my hand. I was hooked. Although Harmon seemed a little indifferent in the beginning, Maggie taught him how to play and they enjoyed each other for two great years. We just lost little Harmon, so now we need to find our Maggie a new rescue and partner in crime.
WHAT’S HER FAVORITE THING TO DO? Be a nosy neighbor and run from window to window checking out the action. Gladys Kravitz has nothing on her!
SHE ALWAYS GETS IN TROUBLE FOR…stealing socks. Between Maggie and the dryer, we never have a matching pair.
SHE’S SO SPOILED…we made sure our new car has a panoramic roof to ease Maggie’s anxiety when she travels.
