We’re pretty fortunate out here in Dodgeville, Wisconsin.
You know what surrounds us in all directions?
Pastures full of fat, happy dairy cows. Rows and rows of sweet corn. Acres overflowing with fresh vegetables. Fields sprinkled with grazing livestock. Free-range poultry farms. Apple orchards, wine vineyards and berry patches.
There are even a few alpaca ranches.
Each year our small town honors the local farmers with a big parade. And even though Lands’ End only has a little fruit orchard and a couple acres of employee-maintained vegetable gardens, we too were invited to participate in the festivities.
