Three Out Of A Million!

“What makes you a walking Lands’ End Billboard?” It’s the question we asked after reaching one million fans on Facebook. We received thousands of wonderful entries and it was quite difficult to choose. But, we eventually whittled them down to the top three winners who were to receive an all-expense paid trip to our Wisconsin headquarters. While here, they participated in an exclusive professional photo shoot with hair, makeup and a new look from our Summer 2013 Collection; private conversations with our executive committee to share their thoughts and ideas; unique shopping experiences; and a tour of Frank Lloyd Wright’s home, which happens to be in our neighborhood.

Here’s what they love about Lands’ End and what they hope to see from us in the future.

First and foremost, I am a mother of 3. But I also work full-time as an Associate Head for Parent and Community Relations at an elementary school called St. Philip’s – where our two daughters also happen to be students.
The three of us walk the three blocks to school together every morning. Did I mention that our school just signed on to the Lands’ End uniform program? Even in my professional life, I cannot get away from you guys ;)

Is there anything you’d like us to do that we’re not already doing?
I think Lands’ End is on the right track with Canvas. I’d like to see more of it. Land’s End can’t be beat if you are looking for a classic piece but I’d like to see a more expanded Canvas offering. This way you can mix those timeless pieces with things that I think are a bit more fresh and modern.

Arvada, CO

I am a mom to six fabulous kids and my husband and I just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary.  But when I’m not focused on them, I am the trainer in a warranty call center  (who tries to instill in all my trainees the same sense of providing great customer service that I get from LE!).

So, what was the first thing you ever purchased from Lands’ End?
I can’t remember if my first purchase was the French Cuff Shirts for my husband to wear to work or our matching Lighthouse Luggage that went on many a family vacation.  20 years ago is a long time to remember back!  Whatever that first purchase was, it made me a Lands’ End fan for life.

New Orleans, LA

I left the corporate world behind 18 months ago when my twin girls were born. I have the luxury of being a stay-at-home Mom these days and it is the toughest job I have ever done.  The pay stinks but the benefits are unparalleled.

What does Lands’ End mean to you?
As a new mom I don’t get much time to focus on myself. Shopping the Lands End website means that I can buy well made clothes that fit me, from the convenience of my home, and have them delivered to my door. And if for whatever reason something does not work out I can get a refund without worrying about saving a receipt or returning it within a narrow timeframe.
